ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and manages a preventative maintenance program for the purpose of ensuring the Community is maintained in a safe and orderly condition.
  • Receive and approve invoices for completed work, coding and submitting them promptly and on time for payment.
  • Assures maintenance and repair of Community interior, exterior, and equipment, including resident apartments, by performing or supervising maintenance tasks or facilitating such performance by outside maintenance services personnel, as directed by Executive Director and/or Regional Maintenance Director.
  • Perform limited plumbing, electrical, equipment and structural repairs on Community buildings, or special projects, as needed. Work with the Executive Director (or independent contractors) to ensure that work is completed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, emergency repairs and/or roofing systems, or equivalent combination of work experience and education, showing progressively higher levels of responsibility.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Working knowledge of new construction, remodel projects, roofing systems/repairs, and other related upkeep.
  • Experience working on electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role, strongly preferred. HP123

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
